July 8, 2026 – A brand-new custom steel structure fitness facility has completed full on-site installation in a residential villa community in Iraq. Built specifically for local residents’ daily sports and leisure needs, this functional two-level venue now serves as a reliable public fitness space for the surrounding neighborhood.

Different from standard single-function industrial buildings, this community fitness centre features a practical partial two-storey layout. The entire ground floor is designed and reserved for an indoor swimming pool area, while the partially built second floor functions as a comprehensive gym zone for daily body training and fitness activities. The separated floor design delivers clear zoning for water sports and dry fitness training, perfectly matching local community living demands.

We provided the full set of core building materials for the entire project, covering the main steel structure framework, specialized enclosure panels, and second-floor load-bearing systems.

For the building’s exterior and internal wall enclosure, we supplied two commonly used and site-adapted specifications of polyurethane edge-sealed rock wool sandwich panels: 50mm and 100mm thickness options. The 100mm PU-sealed rock wool panels were mainly applied for exterior walls and roof cladding. Thanks to excellent heat insulation, fire resistance and weatherproof performance, these panels effectively cope with Iraq’s high temperature and strong sunlight throughout the year, keeping the indoor swimming pool and fitness area comfortable and thermally stable.

The 50mm polyurethane edge-sealed rock wool panels were used for internal partition walls. They offer lightweight installation, stable sound insulation and decent fireproof performance, creating independent, quiet and safe functional areas inside the fitness centre. With professional polyurethane edge sealing treatment, the panels avoid water penetration, heat bridge issues and panel core aging, ensuring long-term service life under local dry and high-temperature climate conditions.

In addition to the full steel structure and sandwich panel supply, we also provided dedicated steel floor decking for the partial second floor. The floor decking material is tailored to bear heavy fitness equipment and daily crowd load. It greatly strengthens the overall structural stability of the second floor, simplifies on-site concrete pouring work, and speeds up the whole on-site construction progress.

All structural steel components are fabricated in strict accordance with Chinese GB standards, with stable material quality and unified production specifications. All enclosure panels and floor bearing materials are pre-produced in the factory, delivered in complete sets, and ready for direct on-site assembly. This integrated material supply method helps avoid on-site material mismatching and construction delays, bringing high efficiency and stable quality to this community facility project.

Located in a concentrated villa residential area, this fitness centre focuses entirely on community public service. This project once again proves that customized prefabricated steel structures are highly flexible for civilian public buildings, neighborhood fitness venues and community leisure facilities in the Middle East.
